Attention Parents and Guardians:
If your child will be riding the bus to school, please complete the bus registration form provided by the Transportation Department. This will help us assign them to the appropriate bus route.
Please Note: Pre-Kindergarten students are not eligible for bus transportation.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Information:
- Students can only have one designated address for pick-up and drop-off.
- This address must be located within the student's attendance zone.
Eligibility for Bus Transportation:
- The State of Texas requires schools to provide transportation for students living 2 miles or further from the school by the nearest route (not necessarily the actual bus route).
- Walking distances to bus stops may vary: Elementary:
- Up to 0.25 miles
- Intermediate, Middle, and High School: Up to 0.50 miles
- Bus arrival times may vary by 10 minutes (plus or minus) from the designated pick-up time. Please be at the stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Students are allowed only one assigned stop within their attendance zone.
Bus Safety and Rules:
Be Safe:
- Stay seated properly at all times.
- Sit in your assigned seat.
- Listen to and follow the driver's instructions.
- Keep your head, hands, and feet inside the bus.
- Use a quiet voice (Level 1).
Respect the Bus:
- Pick up all your trash and take it off the bus.
- No food or drinks are allowed on the bus.
- No tobacco/vape products are allowed on the bus.
- Do not throw objects inside or outside the bus.
- Do not damage the bus.
- Cooperate with the driver and/or monitor.
Respect Each Other:
- Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
- Keep aisles clear.
- Use kind words.
- Bullying and harassment are not tolerated.
- Headphones/earbuds are required for all multimedia devices and cell phones.
