Welcome! Springtown ISD is growing, and we are excited to be opening a new elementary school in the fall of 2027.

A school's name is the first piece of its identity, and it should reflect the values and spirit of our community. We invite all Springtown residents, parents, students, and staff to participate in this important process by submitting your name suggestions.

Please complete the following survey by September 15, 2025. Your input is greatly appreciated!
Naming Guidelines

To ensure the new school's name is timeless and appropriate, the District has established the following guidelines. Please keep these in mind for your submission:

Names should have a positive and inspiring significance.

We encourage names based on:
- Local Geography: Creeks, hills, parks, or natural features unique to the Springtown area.
- Local History: Events, places, or concepts significant to the history of Springtown and Parker County.
- Core Values: Concepts like community, communication, growth, service, and success.
- Notable Individuals (Deceased): Individuals who made significant contributions to our community, state, or nation. Schools will not be named after living individuals.
Submissions must be respectful and non-discriminatory.

Disclaimer: All submissions will be reviewed by the SISD Board of Trustees. As elected representatives of our community, the Board of Trustees will make the final decision.
